ROLE OVERVIEW The Buying Assistant will assist with category range, price & supplier strategy, to help deliver sales & profit.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Responsible for smaller Suppliers & Departments where relevant
- Maximise supplier/category profit & sales
- Work with suppliers/licensees & brands to build deeper commercial relationships to deliver strategy
- Negotiate terms of contract to deliver greatest commercial return for the business and in-line with the Supplier Strategy
- Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
- Range Plan Management
- Work with suppliers to ensure all relevant information is complete
- Product Management
- Manage samples, CADs & images
- Photo shoots guidance
- Invoice queries
- Manage size guides
- Product Queries
- Direct Dispatch
- Product Presentation Collation
- Work with suppliers & buyers to collate all information
- Launch Planners & Calendars
- Deliver range presentations
