Purpose of the Role: The role involves developing and managing relationships with hobby stores, breaking partners, and streamers to drive the promotion of Topps products. This includes collaborating with new and emerging business partners, defining key performance metrics for streaming partnerships, and building strong relationships with stakeholders such as influencers, breakers, and local card stores. The position also oversees trading card shows and events across the UK, ensuring smooth execution and brand representation. In addition, the role acts as a key liaison with colleagues on the Fanatics Live Breaking channel, supporting the delivery of their commercial objectives and aligning efforts with a shared customer base. This is a full time role, in the designated office 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of streaming data and identifying areas for development with other business partners and breakers.
- Management of product allocations and deliveries in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Analyse breaker and card store partner opportunities and needs.
- Solicit product releases in accordance with the schedule controlled by the Go To Market team.
- Support larger strategic initiatives to drive increased direct breaker and card store sales by owning new account reviews, onboarding and continuing to drive fulfilment activities.
- Collate and summarise business reports and create presentations to effectively communicate with various business audiences on high profile initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with other business managers to scope projects, creatively solve problems, set attainable goals and track / measure performance against these.
- Define and implement activation to support breaker category.
- Work together with internal departments (operations, brand, finance) to secure allocation and delivery.
Skills & Experience:
- Work experience in related sales operations positions, account management, and/or project coordination roles, consumer products & retail environment experience preferred.
- Knowledge of trading card environment, including direct sales and distributor environment is a significant advantage.
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and a demonstrated ability to prioritize, and remain flexible in high pressure dynamic situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written/oral) with proven ability to succeed in a team environment and work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders.
- Ideally a sports fan with a strong understanding of the commercial landscape.
- Proven knowledge and application of a wide range of sales techniques and concepts to increase sales within the region.
- Flexible and organised work method.
- Engagement with local influencers and flagship stores in hobby & entertainment category.
- Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to change.
- Proactive partnership builder.
- Planning & organizational attitude.
- Relevant sales and marketing experience (3-5 years).
