If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment that thrives on collaboration and growth, we want you to be part of our team.

The Visual Merchandiser plays a vital role in creating and maintaining an inspiring and commercially effective in-store environment. Responsible for bringing the Fanatics brand to life on the shop floor, this role combines creative product presentation with a strong commercial mindset, ensuring that displays, fixtures, and overall store layout drive customer engagement and maximise sales performance. Working closely with the Store Manager and wider retail team, the Visual Merchandiser ensures that every customer interaction starts with an outstanding visual first impression.

How you will make an impact:

  • Stock Management & Replenishment: Monitor stock levels on the shop floor and in the stockroom, ensuring shelves and displays are consistently replenished and fully stocked. Carry out regular stock counts, audits, and rotation to maintain accuracy and minimise shrinkage or wastage. Liaise with the buying or logistics team to flag low stock, discrepancies, or delivery issues promptly. Receive, check, and process incoming deliveries accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining a well-organised stockroom for efficient retrieval.
  • Product Display & Store Presentation: Take ownership of how products are arranged and presented on the shop floor, ensuring displays are commercially effective, visually appealing, and easy for customers to navigate. Implement and maintain product layouts in line with company guidelines, seasonal changes, and promotional campaigns. Ensure signage, ticketing, and product labelling is accurate, up to date, and consistently applied throughout the store. Identify and act upon opportunities to improve product positioning, adjacencies, and overall store layout to maximise sales potential. Work with the Store Manager to prepare the store for key trading events, new product launches, and seasonal resets.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure the store environment is always clean, tidy, and welcoming for customers, responding to queries about product availability and location in a helpful, knowledgeable manner.
  • Compliance & Health and Safety: Ensure all stock handling, storage, and display activities comply with health and safety requirements. Adhere to manual handling procedures and support loss prevention activities by maintaining vigilance and reporting concerns to the Store Manager.
  • Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with all members of the store team, sharing knowledge and best practice with colleagues to maintain consistent store standards. Participate in team briefings, training sessions, and store meetings as required.

What you bring to the team:

  • Previous experience in a retail or stock management role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage own workload effectively and independently.
  • Confident in arranging and maintaining product displays to a high commercial standard, with a strong eye for presentation and space utilisation.
  • Good understanding of stock control principles, including stock counting, rotation, and loss prevention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach to working within a team.
  • Physical fitness to manage stock handling, deliveries, and manual tasks in line with health and safety requirements.

Desirable: Experience using stock management or EPOS systems; knowledge of retail trading patterns and seasonal planning; experience supporting store resets or new product range launches.

At Fanatics, we value transparency and honesty. If you don’t meet every single requirement, that’s okay – we still want to hear from you! We believe in the power of diverse experiences and talents. If you’re excited about the role and confident that you can contribute, don’t hesitate to apply. We’re genuinely interested in how your unique skills and perspective can help us build something amazing together.

Where you’ll work: This role is based in-store, working as part of the store team on the shop floor and in the stockroom. Occasional travel to other store locations or support sites may be required from time to time to support business needs.

What’s in it for you:

  • Culture: Join a team where you’re surrounded by top-tier talent, driven by a shared passion to relentlessly enhance the fan experience. With a focus on collaboration, support, and continuous development, you’ll be empowered to help shape our culture that celebrates both individual and team successes.
  • Benefits: At Fanatics, we’re dedicated to supporting you in all aspects of work and life; as such we offer a range of competitive benefits tailored to each country in which we operate. Specific details regarding the benefits package applicable to your location will be shared and discussed during the interview process.
