The role
As Nursery Housekeeper, you will help maintain the highest standards ofcleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. Responsibilitiesinclude:
- Cleaning andmaintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communalareas
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptyingbins
- Cleaning anddisinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, andhigh-touch surfaces
- Supportinglaundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, andorganising nursery linen
- Assisting withwashing up and maintaining cleanliness within kitchenareas
- Using cleaningproducts and equipment safely and appropriately
- Monitoringcleaning stock levels and reporting replenishmentrequirements
- Following Health& Safety, COSHH, infection control, and safeguardingprocedures at all times
- Supportingperiodic deep cleaning tasks as required
- Working closelywith the nursery team to ensure a safe and welcomingenvironment for all
