Nursery Deputy Manager -Grosvenor House Day Nursery and Pre-School

Salary – £32,900 depending on experience

40 hours per week

Level 3Childcare Qualification is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Ensurethe safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at alltimes.
  • Understandand ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFSare met throughout the nursery.
  • Assistin managing the acceptance and administration of medication and ensurecare plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with healthconditions.
  • Ensurethat all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences,environments and resources that are appropriate to their age and stage ofdevelopment.
  • Promoterespect and credibility for this position through effective communicationskills, impartiality, and consistency.
  • Inspirestaff team with creative ideas and new challenges with aim to achieveoutstanding practice.
  • Maintainaccurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMansystem and on file.
  • Undertakeany other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and safetyand wellbeing of children, staff, and families.

Requirements:

  • Fulland relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
  • Leadershipexperience - Essential
  • Over1 years’ experience of working in Early Years - Essential
  • Soundknowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatoryrequirements - Essential
  • Over1 years’ experience of working in a management position - Desirable.
  • Level5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
  • Experienceof successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding –Desirable
