Full-time – 40 hours per week (5 days)
Salary: £26,436.80 per annum
We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to join our team! The nursery is a vibrant setting located in the heart of Marlow on Crown Road, situated in a beautifully converted Salvation Army church. It is strategically positioned just a stone’s throw from numerous local attractions, including lush parks, the community library, and the scenic riverbank. The nursery also benefits from good local bus links and is conveniently located just around the corner from Sainsbury’s.

As Nursery Assistant, you will:
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always
- Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios
- Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent
- Observe and support children’s development, update the EyLog system and children’s learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt
- Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
