Nursery Assistant

We are currently seeking a Nursery Assistant to join ourteam in our Baby Room. This part-time role requires working 15 hours per week.Please note, this is a year-round position, as the nursery operates throughoutthe year and is not term-time only.

As Nursery Assistant, you will:
- Ensurethe safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at alltimes
- Understandthe requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:childratios
- Provideengaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources tochildren, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Facilitatea strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachmentsand cover all children daily when colleagues are absent
- Observeand support children’s development, update the EyLog system and children’slearning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance fromcolleagues or Room Leader if in doubt
- Providethe all-around daily needs of children, including their physical,intellectual, social and emotional development
