Are you ready to join a team that parents say the staff went above and beyond to help me, they are absolutely amazing. Rushden Day Nursery are looking for a Level 3 Practitioner to join the team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be joining a team that is committed to providing excellent childcare in a friendly, welcoming and secure surrounding. As a setting we have a nursery catering for children from 0-5 years and an out of school club catering for children up to 12 years old. This role will either be working within the rooms from 0-3 years or supporting the pre school children and out of school club ranging from 3 - 12 years depending on the best fit for the right candidate. Our nursery is rated by Ofsted as GOOD and we strive for this high quality every day, are you ready to join a team of high quality, knowledgeable practitioners to support our families and children?
Requirements
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine.
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
- Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.
- Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.
Requirements and skills:
- Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years - desirable
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
