Footsteps Nursery Canwell is a permanent job, offering up to 40 hours per week with flexibility from Monday to Friday, at a rate of £13.61 per hour.

About Us: It would suit a candidate who can drive due to the nursery's location. Set in a beautiful rural area, Footsteps Nursery Canwell offers a warm and welcoming environment surrounded by open countryside. Our setting provides spacious outdoor play areas designed for children to explore in all weather. We support children from birth to 5 years, encouraging them to learn, grow, and develop through a wide range of engaging activities and play-based learning opportunities. We place a strong emphasis on outdoor experiences, helping children build confidence and curiosity through nature-based play.

This position would suit an experienced Nursery Practitioner who has previously worked in a similar environment caring for children aged 0-5 years and is looking for an exciting career opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification – Essential
  • Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years – Essential
  • Previous experience working with babies under 2 years old – Desirable
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating – Desirable
  • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential
  • Fluent in written and spoken English – Essential
