Level 3 Practitioner + Recognition Bonus (Pro Rata)

As a Duty Manager/Third in Charge
You will help lead the staff to deliver and ensure all children receive quality care, help extend the child\'s learning. Create, plan, and implement activities and experience which help support all aspects of the EYFS. You will be responsible for opening and closing the nursery and will be required to cover for the Manager and Deputy Manager in their absence. The successful candidate will hold a qualification at level 3 or higher and possess a thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum, coupled with a true passion for working with children. They will also proactively promote and support the safeguarding of children within the setting, ensuring that nursery policies and procedures are consistently followed. Comprehensive training will be provided in this area.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the nursery room, ensuring it remains a safe, clean, and inviting space for the children.
- Create and execute educational programmes suited to different ages, supporting early childhood growth.
- Oversee and mentor nursery staff, offering guidance and training when needed.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Planning and preparing activities to develop all aspects of the child\'s individual development in a stimulating atmosphere, within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Plan activities that inspire creativity, encourage social interaction, and promote physical development.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are met, alongside safeguarding policies.
What we need from you
- Passion and commitment for working in childcare
- Ability to work shifts between 7:30-6:00 pm Monday to Friday, working 40 hours per week
- Over 1 year\'s experience of working in Early Years
- Commitment to continual development
- NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 3, EY Educator
