In this role, you’ll collaborate with a fantastic team to ensure smooth transitions and create a nurturing environment for all our little learners. Are you ready to help us lead? Our nursery operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we’re looking for someone who can embrace varied shift patterns within these hours. Why Join Us? Your Role as Room Leader As a Room Leader, you will: Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children\’s age and development. Enhance children\’s physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals. Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role. Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments. Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure safety for all. Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS. What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you should have: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Essential Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position: Desirable Knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework: Essential Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children.
