Plus, we offer street parking for hassle-free access! Our beautiful grounds feature a spacious garden, perfect for outdoor learning and play. This role involves 40 hours per week with flexible shift patterns during our operating hours of 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM. Please note, we operate all year round, so this is not a term-time only position. Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner: As a Nursery Practitioner, you will: Assist management in providing the highest standard of compliance, care, and education for children. Collaborate closely with the Room Leader and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Contribute creative ideas to planning, ensuring children receive high-quality learning and development. Liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures. Meet health and safety and environmental health requirements. Promote and ensure safeguarding standards for all children and adults in the setting. Essential Criteria – Qualifications/Experience: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification – Essential Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years – Essential Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating – Desirable Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential Fluent in written and spoken English – Essential We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for all posts, and this position will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our Safeguarding Duty.
