We are looking for a Housekeeper to work alongside our busy childcare team. The role includes general cleaning in a variety of rooms including bathrooms, ensuring exceptionally high quality clean spaces for our children to use.

The ideal candidate would be:

  • Confident using the correct sprays for cleaning
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all nursery rooms, including playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
  • Carrying out daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins
  • Cleaning and disinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, and high-touch surfaces in line with hygiene standards
  • Supporting with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organising children's bedding, towels, and uniforms
  • Assisting with washing up and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
  • Replenishing cleaning supplies and notifying management when stock levels are low
  • Following health and safety procedures, COSHH guidelines, and infection control policies at all times
  • Working collaboratively with the childcare team to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff
  • Supporting with periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
