Chestnut House Kindergarten are seeking a Deputy Manager to join them on a permanent basis,

Within this role, you will :
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery.
- Assist in managing the acceptance and administration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with health conditions.
- Ensure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Promote respect and credibility for this position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and consistency.
- Inspire staff team with creative ideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.
- Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file.
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
For this role, you will need :
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential
- Leadership experience – Essential
- Over 1 years’ experience of working in Early Years – Essential
- Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential
- Over 1 years’ experience of working in a management position – Desirable.
- Level 5 qualification in Childcare and / or Management and Leadership – Desirable
- Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable
