Set in picturesque surroundings, Head Start Crews Hill Day Nursery & Pre-School is an Ofsted-rated \”Good\” nursery, conveniently located near Enfield Town Tube Station and Gordon Hill Mainline Station. With easy access to both the M25 and A10, as well as a spacious car park, commuting is hassle-free for our team.
The nursery boasts a large, inviting garden, with each room featuring its own private outdoor space. The children also have the unique opportunity to interact with our resident chickens, encouraging exploration and a connection with nature. In addition, the nursery offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including Tiny Mites and Spanish lessons, designed to enrich and expand the children\’s learning experience.
We are currently seeking a Nursery Cleaner who is passionate to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional care. This role has a shift pattern of 6:30pm-8:30pm Monday – Friday all year round.
As Nursery Cleaner, you will:
- Be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of communal areas, including toilets, to ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean, tidy, and professional standards are maintained. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning, and sweeping as appropriate.
- Taking responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others, adhering to organisations policies and procedures and having an awareness of safeguarding children.
- Understanding the importance of the nursery environment, resources, safety, and hygiene and adhering to COSSH datasheets for cleaning materials.
- Store all cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Work in partnership with the Nursery Manager to ensure the timely ordering of any cleaning equipment or supplies.
- There will also be other cleaning duties to be undertaken when required as directed by the Nursery Manager.

As Nursery Cleaner, you will need:
- Previous cleaning experience – essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English – essential.
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH. – desirable
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and site security – desirable.
