Showcase Your Experience

Be ready to discuss your previous experience with children, especially if you have over a year in early years settings. Share specific examples of activities you've planned or how you've supported children's development, as this will demonstrate your hands-on skills and commitment to nurturing young minds.

Emphasise Teamwork

Since you'll be working closely with a supportive team, highlight your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. Think of instances where you've contributed ideas or worked together with colleagues to create a positive environment for children—this will resonate well with the interviewers.

Ask Thoughtful Questions

Prepare some questions that show your genuine interest in the nursery and its values. Inquire about their approach to safeguarding or how they support staff development. This not only demonstrates your enthusiasm for the role but also helps you gauge if it's the right fit for you.
