We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Early Years Nursery Assistant to help cover Lunches and become part of our warm and welcoming team at The Kentish Town Day Nursery.the Nursery is located in the heart of Camden Town, If you love childcare and want to make a positive impact, we’d love to hear from you! Salary - £13,150 working 20 hours a week, 11am - 3pm Monday to Friday all year round. Company Pension Nursery Assistant main responsibilities include: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent Observe and support children’s development, update the EyLog system and children’s learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development *Duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive or restrictive, changes and other duties relevant to this post may be added.
