About Us: Beaconsfield Day Nursery is a vibrant and welcoming space located in the heart of Beaconsfield. With easy access from the A335 and close to the M40 junction, we provide ample onsite and street parking. Plus, we’re just a short distance from Beaconsfield Train Station, making it convenient for our dedicated team. Our nursery boasts spacious, bright rooms and a large, fully equipped garden featuring a mud kitchen. Each room has direct access to the garden, including a separate area for our baby room. We pride ourselves on offering a rich variety of extracurricular activities and regular outings, providing children with engaging opportunities for imaginative and real-world play.
Your Role: We are seeking a passionate Level 3 Room Leader to join our Preschool Room. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with flexible shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Please note, this is a year-round position as our nursery operates throughout the year.

Your Responsibilities: As Room Leader, you will:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate for children's age and development
- Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development
- Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with high quality
- Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role
- Embed an effective key person approach to help children form secure attachments
- Maintain accurate records and accounts on the EyMan system
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
- Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS
Your Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years - Essential
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
