Your Role as Third in Charge
- Lead and inspire staff to ensure every child receives exceptional care and learning experiences.
- Create, plan, and implement engaging activities that support all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Open and close the nursery, stepping in for the Manager and Deputy Manager when needed.
- Design educational programs tailored to different age groups, fostering early childhood growth.
- Mentor and guide nursery staff, providing support and training as necessary.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Plan activities that inspire creativity, encourage social interaction, and promote physical development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Essential
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position: Desirable
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
