With easy on-street parking, our nursery is accessible for both staff and parents. Your Role

As our Nursery Third in Charge, you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
  • Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
  • Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals.
  • Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
  • Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
  • Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure safety for all.
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.

What You Need

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
  • Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations - Desirable
  • Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework - Essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
