How to prepare for a job interview at Family First Nursery Group

Know Your Stuff

This will show that you’re not just passionate about working with children, but also knowledgeable about how to do it effectively.

Show Your Passion

During the interview, let your enthusiasm for early years education shine through. Share personal anecdotes or experiences that highlight your love for working with children. This can help the interviewers see that you’re not just looking for a job, but genuinely want to make a difference in children's lives.

Prepare Questions

Have a few thoughtful questions ready to ask at the end of your interview. This could be about their approach to child-led learning or how they support staff development. It shows you’re engaged and interested in being part of their team, rather than just there for the paycheck.

Dress the Part

While you want to look professional, remember that this is a nursery environment. Opt for smart-casual attire that’s comfortable and practical. This will help you feel at ease during the interview and give a nod to the hands-on nature of the role.
