We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Cleaner to join our team at Woodberry Day Nursery - Waterlooville.

10 hours a week - 6pm-8pm Monday - Friday, All year round £13.23 per hour.

As a Nursery Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of communal areas, including toilets, to ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean, tidy, and professional standards are maintained. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning, and sweeping as appropriate.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others, adhering to organisations policies and procedures and having an awareness of safeguarding children.
  • Understanding the importance of the nursery environment, resources, safety, and hygiene and adhering to COSHH datasheets for cleaning materials.
  • Storing all cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Working in partnership with the Nursery Manager to ensure the timely ordering of any cleaning equipment or supplies.
  • Undertaking other cleaning duties as directed by the Nursery Manager.
