Footsteps Nursery Canwell is set in a beautiful rural area, offering a warm and welcoming environment surrounded by open countryside. Our setting provides spacious outdoor play areas designed for children to explore in all weather. We support children from birth to 5 years, encouraging them to learn, grow, and develop through a wide range of engaging activities and play-based learning opportunities. We place a strong emphasis on outdoor experiences, helping children build confidence and curiosity through nature-based play.

We are defined by Family. We’re a family by name, and a family by nature too. This position would suit an experienced Nursery Practitioner who has previously worked in a similar environment caring for children aged 0–5 years and is looking for an exciting career opportunity.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification - Essential
  • Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years - Essential
  • Previous experience working with babies under 2 years old - Desirable
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
  • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
  • Fluent in written and spoken English - Essential
