The Potters Bar Day Nursery & Pre-School is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery, centrally located in the heart of the High Street. Situated near Potters Bar Mainline Station and Barnet Hill Tube Station, the nursery is easily accessible via public transport, with convenient links to the M25, M1, and A1. The setting also offers both On-Site and Off-Road Parking for added convenience.
Our nursery features spacious, light-filled rooms and a large, fully resourced garden, providing abundant opportunities for outdoor play and learning. This vibrant space encourages children to engage in both imaginative and real-world play, fostering their growth and development.
We are currently seeking a Nursery Cleaner who is passionate to join our team and help us continue delivering exceptional care. This role has a flexible shift pattern and would be Monday - Friday all year round.

As a Nursery Cleaner, you will:
- Wash, dust, polish, vacuum clean, and sweep as appropriate.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others, adhering to organisations policies and procedures and having an awareness of safeguarding children.
- Understand the importance of the nursery environment, resources, safety, and hygiene and adhere to COSHH datasheets for cleaning materials.
- Store all cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Work in partnership with the Nursery Manager to ensure the timely ordering of any cleaning equipment or supplies.
- Undertake other cleaning duties as directed by the Nursery Manager.
