Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic childcare professional ready to make a real difference in little lives? We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Level 3 Practitioner to become part of our warm and welcoming team at The Childcare Hub.

Hourly rate: £13.53 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week - 8:00am - 17:00pm - All year round

Our large, welcoming setting cares for children from 3 months to 5 years old, offering a variety of enriching experiences that support their development at every stage. The children have access to our unique rooftop garden, complete with a pizza oven, where they can explore and engage in hands-on, creative activities. We believe in supporting our staff too, offering free lunch and a collaborative, nurturing atmosphere.

Requirements Your Role as a Level 2 Practitioner:

  • Create a safe, nurturing environment and support secure attachments.
  • Guide and support team members, identifying training needs.
  • Use EyLog/EyMan to track progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and keep them informed.
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards.
  • Promote outdoor learning and overall child development.
  • Model professionalism and foster a respectful team culture.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Childcare (Essential)
  • Previous experience working with babies under 2 years old
  • A passion for the outdoors and outdoor learning, with an enthusiasm for forest school activities
  • Strong understanding of child development and the ability to provide purposeful learning experiences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in working with parents and colleagues
  • Knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding and child protection
