The Bourne End Day Nursery, The Old Methodist Church, Furlong Road, Bourne End, SL8 5AE. Permanent, 10 hours per week Monday to Friday, 6pm – 8pm £12.98 per hour (dependent on age and experience).

The role:

As Nursery Housekeeper, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins
  • Cleaning and disinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, and high-touch surfaces
  • Supporting laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising nursery linen
  • Assisting with washing up and maintaining cleanliness within kitchen areas
  • Using cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately
  • Monitoring cleaning stock levels and reporting replenishment requirements
  • Following Health & Safety, COSHH, infection control, and safeguarding procedures at all times
  • Supporting periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
  • Working closely with the nursery team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all
