Your Role as Room Leader
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
- Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs.
- Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
- Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
- Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
- Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
- Understand and uphold the statutory framework for the EYFS.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification: Full and relevant qualification is essential.
- Experience: Over 1 year in Early Years is essential; over 6 months in a senior position is desirable.
- Ofsted Knowledge: Familiarity with Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating is desirable.
- EYFS Knowledge: Understanding of the statutory framework and regulatory requirements is essential.
- Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English is essential.
