We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Cleaner to join our team at Woodberry Day Nursery - Waterlooville. This role has a shift pattern of 6pm-8pm Monday - Friday all year round, with a pay rate of £13.23 per hour.
Woodberry Waterlooville is located on London Road, on the outskirts of the town centre. It is a new, purpose-built day nursery with spacious gardens and many fantastic local amenities within walking distance.
As a Nursery Cleaner, you will:
- Be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of communal areas, including toilets, to ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean, tidy, and professional standards are maintained. This includes washing, dusting, polishing, vacuum cleaning, and sweeping as appropriate.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others, adhering to organisations policies and procedures and having an awareness of safeguarding children.
- Understand the importance of the nursery environment, resources, safety, and hygiene and adhere to COSHH datasheets for cleaning materials.
- Store all cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Work in partnership with the Nursery Manager to ensure the timely ordering of any cleaning equipment or supplies.
- Undertake other cleaning duties as directed by the Nursery Manager.

As a Nursery Cleaner, you will need:
- Previous cleaning experience - essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH - desirable
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and site security - desirable
