Your Role as Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences of our children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating stimulating and purposeful learning experiences tailored to children's developmental stages
- Supporting the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally
- Assisting staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals
- Leading by example to promote respect and credibility within the team
- Implementing an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with the EYFS statutory framework
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor

What You Need to Succeed
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
- Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
- Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements - Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
