Footsteps Nursery Canwell is seeking an Experienced Nursery Practitioner for a permanent, part-time position (up to 40 hours per week) with flexible hours Monday–Friday at £13.61 per hour. The nursery is located in a beautiful rural setting with spacious outdoor play areas for children to explore in all weather. We support children from birth to 5 years and encourage learning, growth, and development through a range of engaging activities and play-based learning opportunities, with a strong emphasis on outdoor and nature-based play.

Essential Criteria
  • Full and relevant childcare qualification (essential)
  • Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years (essential)
  • Previous experience caring for babies under 2 years old (essential)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (essential)
  • Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (essential)
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating (desirable)
  • Experience in a similar environment caring for children aged 0–5 years (essential)
