Basic Salary: £25,000 + Company Car + Fuel Allowance

Expected earnings: £35,000 - £40,000

Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm

Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm (with some Saturdays off)

We're looking for an enthusiastic Car Sales Associate to join our team at our Cloughmills dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the motor trade.

We are only considering candidates who have either:

  • A minimum of one year's experience working within motor trade sales, or
  • At least one year's experience in a customer-facing sales or customer service role.

Examples include motor dealerships, service reception, parts departments, vehicle rental, retail sales, mobile phone sales, furniture sales, estate agency, insurance sales, banking, or hospitality where providing excellent one-to-one customer service and achieving targets formed a key part of your role.

The Role

As a Car Sales Associate, you will:

  • Welcome customers professionally in person and respond to enquiries via telephone, email, WhatsApp and other digital channels.
  • Listen carefully to understand each customer's needs and recommend the most suitable vehicle and finance options.
  • Conduct vehicle presentations and accompany customers on test drives.
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using our CRM system.
  • Follow up enquiries and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Help achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensure the showroom and forecourt remain clean, professional and welcoming.
  • Deliver outstanding aftersales support.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • A minimum of one year's experience within the motor trade OR at least one year's experience in a customer-facing sales or customer service position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence speaking with customers face to face.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience in vehicle sales is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.
