Key responsibilities of the role
- Regulatory Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly/monthly COREP and FINREP returns for review.
- Assist in the preparation of other PRA/BOE returns for review.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the regulatory reporting processes, software and Excel files ensuring they are kept fully up to date with regulatory changes and remain fit for purpose.
- Assist in ensuring procedures, assumptions and interpretations of regulatory reporting rules and guidance are fully documented and kept up to date.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end management accounts and Board reports.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for other departments.
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of processes, software and spreadsheets where necessary to account for changes in regulation or process changes.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis for the Financial Accounting Manager and Finance team as required.
- Assist with preparing the Annual Report and Accounts, Corporation Tax Return and iXBRL.
- Assist with the preparation of the quarterly VAT return.
- Assist in project work.
- Assist in the liaison with internal audit, risk and compliance during periodic reviews.
- Assist other departments with queries as required.
- Carry out routine administrative tasks, maintain required training and compliance, follow internal processes for leave and absence, and undertake any other reasonable duties needed to support day-to-day operations.

- Advanced use of MS Excel required.
