As a key member of our Engineering & Maintenance team, you'll play a central role in supporting production by maintaining plant equipment and ensuring safe, reliable operations on site.
What You'll Do:
- Carry out planned and preventative mechanical maintenance across production plant and building services.
- Support the reactive maintenance team with breakdowns when required.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations, including completing risk assessments.
- Support installations and commissioning of new equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and 5S to drive operational excellence.
What you'll bring:
- HNC/HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or completion of a Level 3 apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong skills in maintaining plant equipment including conveyors, rotating machinery, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Process oriented, self-directed and autonomous, with the ability to work as part of a greater team.
- Excellent communication skills and computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
