Role Purpose
The Talent Acquisition Apprentice will support the People & Culture team to attract, recruit and onboard great people across Family Adventures Group. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their HR or recruitment career who is passionate about people, brand, culture, and safeguarding. You will play a key part in developing our employer brand, managing recruitment enquiries, supporting safer recruitment processes, and welcoming new starters into the organisation. Alongside the role, you will complete a HR Support Apprenticeship with Realise, gaining hands‑on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Support
- Act as a first point of contact for recruitment enquiries across the organisation.
- Support recruitment activity across multiple nursery sites, including:
- Posting job adverts
- Managing candidate pipelines
- Arranging interviews
- Help develop and promote Family Adventures Group’s employer brand.
- Create and schedule employer‑focused social media content, including:
- “Life at…” posts
- Vacancy promotions
- Career stories and staff spotlights
- Support onboarding of new starters in line with safer recruitment policies, including:
- Right to Work checks (with training)
- DBS process coordination
- Reference tracking and verification
- Support the end‑to‑end onboarding journey for new starters.
- Assist with:
- Issuing contracts and starter documentation
- Coordinating induction processes
- Ensuring mandatory checks and training are completed before start dates
- Complete all learning, assignments and assessments required as part of the HR Support apprenticeship with Realise.
- Apply learning directly to day‑to‑day work, with support from the People & Culture team.
- Attend review meetings with your apprenticeship coach and workplace mentor.
