About the Role
As a Bank Early Years Practitioner, you will provide essential cover and support within our Little Adventures Nursery Dudley setting when needed. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of care while bringing energy, creativity and professionalism to each nursery you support. You will create warm, engaging and enriching environments where every child feels safe, seen and inspired to learn.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the learning and development of children aged 0–5 through meaningful play and planned experiences
- Ensuring every child feels valued, nurtured and challenged according to their individual needs and interests
- Following safeguarding procedures and promoting a strong culture of safety and care
- Building positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents across multiple settings
- Reflecting on your practice and engaging in ongoing training and professional development
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for practitioners who bring energy, empathy and flexibility to their work. You’ll need:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a nursery or early years setting
- A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Confident communication and teamwork skills
- A reflective, adaptable and can‑do attitude
- Willingness and ability to travel to different nursery locations within the Midlands
- A current Enhanced DBS, or willingness to undergo a check
Working Pattern
Bank / zero‑hours contract. Shifts available Monday to Friday.
