Our client is a growing legal practice located in Hertfordshire, who are recruiting a proactive Paralegal to join their dynamic Property team. This role offers parking and private healthcare alongside a clear pathway to a Training Contract in the near future. This is an exceptional opportunity to build hands-on experience within a collaborative team environment, supporting fee-earners and contributing to a wide range of conveyancing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and submitting SDLT returns
  • Land Registry registrations & expediting applications
  • Handling Land Registry requisitions
  • Completing Companies House registrations
  • Serving notices of transfer/charge
  • Managing redemptions, including DS1s & redemption figures
  • Drafting and issuing undertakings
  • Contacting the Land Registry and banks
  • Providing updates to clients and solicitors
  • Conducting OS1/OS2, bankruptcy, company & winding-up searches
  • Handling incoming calls from solicitors
  • Clearing balances and ensuring smooth matter progression

Key Skills:

  • 1-2 years experience in conveyancing - essential
  • Law degree required (minimum qualification)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills
