Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced property litigator, ideally 3+ PQE, to join their landlord and tenant litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to play a key role in a close-knit team, while also benefiting from the support and resources of a larger firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property litigation files
  • Lease renewals and terminations under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
  • Possession proceedings under the Housing Act 1988
  • Breach of covenant and forfeiture, Injunctions and enforcement matters
  • Advising and representing clients in the County Court, High Court, and Tribunals
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, and correspondence
  • Engaging with counsel, experts, and third parties

Skills Required

  • Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3+ years’ PQE in litigation (landlord & tenant focus essential)
  • Strong knowledge of property law and procedure, with proven experience in complex disputes
  • Proactive team player, able to work closely with colleagues in a small department while contributing to the wider firm
