Our client, a respected accountancy practice based in North London, is seeking an experienced Secretary to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy office environment, providing essential administrative support and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
The role would suit someone with experience in an administrative or secretarial position, ideally within an accountancy, legal, or professional services environment.
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day administrative support, including managing emails, answering calls and responding to client enquiries.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new clients and maintaining accurate records on the firm's Practice Management System.
- Coordinating meetings, diaries and general office administration.
- Organising and maintaining electronic client files and documentation.
- Preparing correspondence, updating databases and carrying out data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Assisting with invoice preparation and supporting the billing process.
- Providing administrative support to the Finance team.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience within an administrative or secretarial role.
- Experience within an accountancy, legal or other professional services environment is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A positive, proactive and professional approach.
