Our client, a well-established non-profit organisation with strong ties to Israel, is seeking a motivated Solicitor or Probate Lawyer to join its friendly and supportive Legacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Solicitor, Probate Lawyer, or someone nearing qualification via the SQE route to build their career within a rewarding environment. You will manage a varied caseload across Wills, Probate and Estate Administration while providing a compassionate and professional service to clients and their families. This is a full-time role, although part-time applications will also be considered. A competitive salary of £40,000–£70,000 is offered, depending on experience. The position includes flexible hybrid working arrangements, an early finish on Fridays, and a generous annual leave package, including Bank Holidays and additional office closures throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Probate and Estate Administration matters from initial instruction through to distribution.
  • Prepare Probate applications and assist with inheritance tax calculations and submissions.
  • Draft Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and other private client documents.
  • Administer Trusts and assist with Estate planning matters.
  • Liaise with beneficiaries, executors, families and professional advisers throughout the Probate process.
  • Handle tax matters, including income tax and capital gains tax where required.
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing clear advice and excellent client care.

About You

  • Recently qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Probate Lawyer, or someone nearing qualification through the SQE route.
  • Experience or a strong interest in Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach when supporting clients.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using case management or CRM systems.
