Our client is a fast-growing and highly dynamic legal practice seeking a Legal Secretary Assistant with commercial & residential conveyancing experience to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years' conveyancing experience to join a reputable and supportive firm offering hybrid working arrangements.
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office and 4 days working from home. Candidates must be able and willing to travel to the firm's North West London office as required.
Duties Include:
- Supporting Fee Earners in all aspects of commercial conveyancing transactions
- Diary and email management
- Drafting legal documentation including transfers, contracts, leases, certificates of title and completion documents
- Preparing Land Registry and Stamp Duty applications
- Assisting with property searches and post-completion matters
- Performing and reporting on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and third parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly
- Managing files and maintaining accurate case records
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience within conveyancing
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Must be able to travel to the North West London office when required
