A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join a well-regarded firm of solicitors based in North West London. Working within the Residential Conveyancing team, this role offers hands-on exposure to both pre-completion and post-completion work in a dynamic workplace.
Duties include:
- Assisting with a wide range of post-completion tasks, including completing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms
- Processing applications and registrations at Companies House
- Supporting pre-completion work, including liaising with fee-earners, mortgage lenders and clients to obtain documentation and updates
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to fee-earners on their caseloads, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
Key Skills & Requirements:
- At least two years’ experience in conveyancing - essential
- Educated to degree level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
