Our client is a respected mid‑sized law firm based in Finchley seeking a Legal Secretary with conveyancing experience to join their team. Working alongside a dynamic team of solicitors, partners, and support staff, this position offers the chance to be part of a friendly working environment while contributing to the ongoing success of a well‑established local firm. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and working closely with partners on conveyancing cases
  • Typing detailed correspondence, instructions to counsel, and other complex legal documents
  • Drafting basic licences and legal documents
  • Preparing and submitting SDLT forms and Land Registry applications
  • Coordinating property searches and documentation
  • Assisting with the preparation of security documentation and file management in matters where representation is provided for both the client and panel lenders
  • Keeping case files and systems up to date and compliant
  • Managing pre‑ and post‑completion tasks
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and lenders
  • Preparing documents for exchange and completion

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in commercial or residential conveyancing is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
