A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a well-regarded firm of solicitors based in North West London. Working within the Residential Conveyancing team, this role offers hands-on involvement in both pre-completion and post-completion matters, providing excellent exposure within a busy and supportive legal environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of six months' experience in a legal support role, within residential or commercial conveyancing. This position is well suited to someone looking to build on their existing experience and develop a long-term career within a respected and established law firm.
Duties include:
- Assisting with a range of post-completion tasks, including completing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms
- Processing applications and registrations at Companies House
- Supporting pre-completion work, including liaising with fee-earners, mortgage lenders and clients to obtain documentation and updates
- Providing administrative support to fee-earners on their caseloads, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
