Our client is a fast-growing property finance business based in W1, specialising in property-backed lending, with expertise across short-term funding, senior debt and moderate-LTV transactions.
As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a bright, ambitious Graduate Analyst to join their lending team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a genuine interest in real estate, credit and property finance to gain hands-on exposure to the full lending process and work closely with experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess enquiries from brokers and borrowers
- Conduct research on properties, comparables, cost plans and business appraisals
- Evaluate financial viability and make recommendations to the credit committee
- Prepare indicative terms for deals
- Attend borrower meetings and conduct detailed deal research
- Liaise with brokers and borrowers to obtain necessary information
- Assist in issuing Facility Agreements and sourcing valuations
- Reassess deals based on updated information
- Maintain the CRM system with pipeline updates
- Prepare presentations and internal loan book reviews
- Support the team with ad-hoc tasks to drive the business forward
Key Requirements
- A 2:1 or above in a business-related degree or equivalent
- A strong interest in property, finance and credit
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong research, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong client service and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, ambitious and entrepreneurial approach
- Experience with Co Star, Companies House, Zoopla or Rightmove would be advantageous, but is not essential
