Our client, a well-established non-profit organisation with strong ties to Israel, is seeking a motivated Private Client Solicitor β Wills & Probate to join its friendly and supportive Legacy team. This is an excellent part-time opportunity (25β30 hours per week) for a qualified Solicitor or Probate Lawyer to manage a varied caseload of Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters, while delivering a compassionate, professional and client-focused service to individuals and their families.
This is a part-time role offering a competitive salary of Β£60,000βΒ£70,000 pro rata. The position includes flexible hybrid working arrangements, an early finish on Fridays, and a generous annual leave package, including Bank Holidays and additional office closures throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of Probate and Estate Administration matters from initial instruction through to distribution.
- Prepare Probate applications and assist with inheritance tax calculations and submissions.
- Draft Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and other private client documents.
- Administer Trusts and assist with Estate planning matters.
- Liaise with beneficiaries, executors, families and professional advisers throughout the Probate process.
- Handle tax matters, including income tax and capital gains tax where required.
- Providing sensitive, expert advice to bereaved clients.
- Qualified Solicitor.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team.
- Strong technical knowledge of wills and probate law.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using case management or CRM systems.
