Our client, a well-established non-profit organisation with strong ties to Israel, is seeking a motivated Solicitor or Probate Lawyer to join its friendly and supportive Legacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Solicitor, Probate Lawyer, or someone nearing qualification via the SQE route to build their career within a rewarding environment. This is a full-time role, although part-time applications will also be considered. A competitive salary of £40,000–£70,000 is offered, depending on experience. The position includes flexible hybrid working arrangements, an early finish on Fridays, and a generous annual leave package, including Bank Holidays and additional office closures throughout the year.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare Probate applications and assist with inheritance tax calculations and submissions.
- Draft Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and other private client documents.
- Administer Trusts and assist with Estate planning matters.
- Handle tax matters, including income tax and capital gains tax where required.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Recently qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Probate Lawyer, or someone nearing qualification through the SQE route.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using case management or CRM systems.
