Our client, a leading retailer with an expanding property portfolio across the UK, is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to join their team and work closely with the Finance Director. The successful candidate will be part- or fully-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with a solid background in financial accounting, including bookkeeping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial accounting for a group of companies
- Production of management accounts and year-end accounts
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain bookkeeping and financial records
- VAT returns
Requirements
- Part or fully qualified ACCA / CIMA
- Minimum 4+ years financial accounting experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Excel and Sage skills
- Able to work independently in a busy office
