A well-established, family-owned property management company based in North London is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to join their close-knit team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing a residential portfolio, strong IT skills, and the ability to work autonomously. There is also some exposure to commercial property management, making this a varied and interesting role. This position is part time, (20 hours per week over 3 days) and is fully office-based.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a high-end residential property portfolio
- Overseeing AST (Assured Shorthold Tenancy) management, including renewals, compliance, and tenancy progression
- Overseeing property maintenance and repairs, ensuring works are completed efficiently
- Liaising with tenants, landlords, and contractors to maintain strong working relationships
- Organising, managing, and overseeing refurbishment and improvement works
- Handling property and insurance-related matters, including claims and renewals
- Raising rental invoices and proactively chasing rent arrears
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property files
- Using MS Office and property management software such as PropMan (or similar)
