A well-established and highly regarded law firm based in North West London is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy Conveyancing department. This is an excellent hybrid opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary with proven experience across both commercial and residential conveyancing matters. This role is based in North West London, with the office conveniently located and easily commutable. Requires one full day in the office per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing full secretarial support to the Partner within the Conveyancing department
  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and carrying out typing/audio typing via digital dictation
  • Handling residential and commercial conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion
  • Preparing initial contract packs, completion statements, and supporting documentation
  • Opening files and conducting anti-money laundering (AML) checks and compliance procedures
  • Assisting with Land Registry applications, registrations, and submission of SDLT returns
  • Supporting commercial property transactions and portfolio purchases
  • Assisting with post-completion matters including Land Registry and Companies House registrations

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within commercial and residential conveyancing
