Our client, a growing property management company based in North London, is seeking an experienced Head of Property Management to lead its residential property management team. This role will oversee the day-to-day performance of Property Managers, ensuring high standards across tenant communication, maintenance, compliance, operational delivery and portfolio performance. This position offers great benefits including parking, bonuses and generous holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and support the Property Management team to ensure consistent service delivery across the portfolio.
  • Oversee the management of maintenance issues, contractor follow-up, inspections, compliance actions, and operational escalations.
  • Ensure all maintenance requests, complaints, tenant interactions, and operational updates are accurately logged within internal systems.
  • Monitor team performance, workflows and portfolio risks including complaints, arrears, compliance gaps, and welfare concerns.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and implement improvements to processes, communication, and service standards.
  • Manage escalations and ensure critical issues are resolved effectively.
  • Work closely with lettings, maintenance, compliance, rents, and site teams to ensure smooth operational coordination and handovers.
  • Review contractor performance and ensure maintenance SLAs are met.
